Our History

Panhandle Geotechnical and Environmental was founded in 1967 by M.C. Schaff, P.E., L.S., to provide geotechnical and environmental consulting services in Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming.

Originally known as Panhandle Drilling and Testing, PG&E focused on remediation and testing services.

Now, over 40 years later, PG&E has grown both in size and in scope. With more than 13 employees in two locations, PG&E handles projects in more than 12 states, with new locations added regularly through growth.

PG&E is part of the M.C. Schaff family of companies, including M.C. Schaff & Associates, Inc., and Enviro Service, Inc.
